What is Academic UIL?
Academic UIL complements the academic curriculum, is designed to motivate students as they acquire higher levels of knowledge, to challenge students to confront issues of importance, and to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of specific skills. Students are challenged to think critically and creatively, exhibiting much more than knowledge and comprehension.
2020-2021 Academic UIL Information
Thank you for your interest in participating in our Academic UIL team for the 2020-2021 school year! We are so glad to have you. There will be a student informational meeting on November 2, 2020, via ZOOM and Face to Face. The meeting will start promptly at 4:00 pm and last about 30 minutes. Email Mrs. Branch, cbranch@mckinneyisd.net, for the ZOOM Link. Practices will begin the week of November 9, 2020.
